Meet the Fishinggeeks
Sean and Adam Konrad, also known as “The Fishinggeeks” are identical twins born in Saskatoon, Sask. These gents have been fishing their entire lives. It all started back at the age of 4 when their father took them out to Diefenbaker Lake and their love and expertise of the sport has grown with them along the way.
Their fond memories at that lake included catching Walleye, Burbot, Pike and the good old Whitefish. However, Rainbow Trout was always the prize catch. Now, the Fishinggeeks are multi-species anglers who mainly target trout around Saskatchewan and Alberta. These provinces have outstanding fisheries that provide trophy opportunities like no other.
Adam lives in Saskatoon with his wife Christena and two children, Robyn and Lincoln. Sean lives in Spruce Grove and lives with his 10-year-old daughter, Nyla. Family always comes first for these fishing gurus but Fishing doesn’t come far behind. Both Adam and Sean are Journeyman Automotive Mechanics but Fishing is their true passion.
These guys hold 2 world records, the 48lb Rainbow Trout and 25.2lb Burbot. Not only that, they also landed 9-line Class world records and the Saskatchewan Provincial Record Brown Trout at 26lbs.
